I was in my local equipment store Stan Houstons in Sioux Falls SD and they still had a vac sys and a cms router table with the side table and sliding table. Been there forever. No one here wants to spend the big bucks on it. Since it isn't available anymore I was surprised it was there. Probably not something I would go for though. The vac sys though is still out of my current budget, but on my radar. I was eyeing the excel 5 vac pump and thinking of building my own system. I figure it would better suit my needs but there are a lot of fans of the vac sys here. Is it that much better than excel 5, and is it really discontinued? Also, there seems to be only 50$ difference between excel 3 and 5 any reason to not go for the 5?
