Hey Guys,

As some of you know,  my father in law was a massive Festool fan,  but he recently passed away and I have inheirateted his tools. I've been teaching myself how to use them all, and he had the CMS table with the router table,  jigsaw,  belt sander and ts 55 inserts,  but I noticed that somehow the holes where you connect the out feed table has been snapped.

I don't believe this should happen on a Festool product,  but at the same time I don't know what happened because I wasn't around when it happened.

I'll attach some pictures.

Best course of action?

Thank you,
Ryan

Edit: on phone at the moment so will attach more pictures later.

It looks like someone tried to pick up the table by lifting from the extension. Cast aluminum isn't ductile like extruded aluminum, and it will break like that.

However, you might be able to reverse the opposite legs. I'm not positive, but they look like they might be the same. Ahh, yes. According to EKAT, the legs are the same. So you could swap the infeed and outfeed legs with each other. This will allow you to mount the extension table.
