Cocobolo table

This is another table I made for an exhibition on studio designed contemporary furniture.  The top is a solid piece of Cocobolo 72"x20".  The legs were turned from Birdseye maple.  The black areas on the legs were burned to create that deep black color.  I love the three legs versus four.  This table gave me a good excuse to use my RS2 sander, it did a great job flattening the top.  I was very surprised at how well it worked.
