Coffee Table

One of the rare occasions where I have the time and motivation to make something for myself.  Wood is solid Honduran Mahogany, the ebony pegs are actually African blackwood.  The design is mine, I guess, except for the fact that it's so heavily indebted to G&G.  For a finish I used analine dye (English Brown Mahogany) followed by 3 coats General Finishes Oil/Urethane blend, satin.  4 coats on the top of the top.

Festools used were the C12, ETS 125 EQ, and lots of the OF 1400.  To shape the bread board ends I used the Lee Valley inlay set (http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.aspx?c=2&p=41779&cat=1,43000,51208&ap=1).

I envy your craftsman ship as well as the works of other members of this site.

I have a feeling the day I produce furniture like that I will have all aspects of life figured out just intime to hear the sound of the gas ignitor. [big grin]

Welcome to the forum. Your project is not bad for a beginner. You have demonstrated a reasonably quality of workmanship but if you had used Festool the finish would have been immeasurably superior. It requires much closer inspection. Please PM me and I'll give you my home address where you can send the table for close assessment.
