Can anyone advise which Festool blade to use with a Carvex/Collins coping foot? The Bosch T244d that is recommended is not available locally. Thanks. -Jon
I use the FSG blades which are like the Bosch 244DP blades. The 144 is just a shallower blade that makes scrolling cuts easier. All of the above have aggressive 6-7tpi blades with cross set teeth, so they will all work well.
The more aggressive blades work much better due to the fact that you're slowly grinding the material off by creeping up to the edge of the profile rather than trying to slice through it as you would with an actual coping saw. Ideally, the teeth never come into contact with the face, but stop short by a few fibers, so tearout isn't an issue.
