Its already the late afternoon of Christmas Eve down here, so before I join with Ms Untidy in pre-preparing tomorrow's cold Christmas lunch, just a shout out to all here to have s great day.

It will be C35 degrees here tomorrow, hence cold turkey and ham, followed by choice of  plumb pudding and ice cream or Pavolva * with strawberry topping. Oh and prawns and salad as a starter.

I think that Christmas in the summer time would take some getting used to.

I hope every FOGger and their families have a very happy and peaceful Christmas and a special thank you to the moderators and FOG techies who make this the best woodworking and tool forum on the internet.

Wishing all members, friends, and families a very safe and happy Holiday season and a healthy and happy 2017.

Hi, [member=11196]Peter Parfitt[/member]

A cold Christmas is on my bucket list - the choice is London, Paris or Copenhagen with Copenhagen the most likely if it happens. Then, Antarctica sounds nice!  [smile]

We've beef scoffing ham and salmon and several interesting salads, accompanied by various berries and champagne. Family tradition of mango vodka slushies to start.

In and out of the pool, back and forward to the food ... it's 7pm and I'm not feeling skiny at all [embarassed]

Hope everyone is having a safe and happy Christmas [wink] [big grin]

@Untidy Shop - It was 0 degrees Fahrenheit when I left my house this morning. I don't know what that is in Celsius, but it's pretty cold.

Merry Christmas to you.

We had -30 deg C in Kingston Ontario in December/January 1981/2 and for a Brit that was really cold.

Does anyone remember the British winter 1962/3 when we had sub zero and snow for nearly 4 months?

Yes, I remember ice skating on the lake at Windsor Great Park (I was 3 years old)

Merry Christmas to all. Yesterday, Christmas Day it was 40c with the A/C working overtime, today its 19c and raining! Most bizarre weather we are having down here.
