I have one of the Mini vacs (love it) and use it to great advantage with all my festools in field jobs. I also have other tools whose vacuum ports are exactly the same diameter as the hose on the mini. Does Festool have an adapter sleeve that goes over both vacuum ports?

i presume you are saying that the hose end cuff is the same size as the port and wont go inside or outside it.
are you useing a 26mm or 36mm hose.
if its the 26mm then i would upgrade to a 36mm. if that wont work then i would go to your local tool shop and try and fing a fitting that will fit from another brand. if that doesnt fit then look in the plumbing section for a pipe that will go over the 2
