Conturo Status

I have just purchased a Conturo Master Set along with an MFK 700. I see rumors - and only rumors - of the Conturo being discontinued. Of course, these rumors are a bit dated and merchants are still carrying the stock so I figure they're just rumors. It's unfortunate as it seems like a solid system. Any truth to the rumors that anyone can divulge? I don't plan on cancelling the order but wonder about glue supplies being hard to get. Thanks for any information!

I dont listen to rumors. One thing I learned about festool if ya wanna tool buy it. So many times here people have axed if anyone is selling some discontinued tool saying they waited to long or was indecisive to get it when It was available.

good thing ya bought the kit to. I would also look at thhe Conturo accessory kit or pick up the things you want from it. I didnt need everything in the accessory kit, all I got was the scraper, and the attachment for using the conturo with long edge banding.
I am now after the 4 years or so Ive had it, looking at getting the trimmer to cut the edging. I might get it next month or so. I got a decent edge trimmer but I thought why the hell not....
