Hi Everyone,
I couldn't resist....
Blue with the green handle and lettering.
So fun.....
I did a thorough product evaluation today.
12 cold beers stayed cold from 7 am when I took them out of the fridge and left for work, till after five when I finally relented and allowed my crew to check out the "new tool" in the blue sys 4.
Let's just say everyone was stoked. We never. drink at work but a couple cold ones after work can really boost the morale of my team. Everyone thought it was hilarious that there was beer inside. ( I was pleased they were still cold).
Anyway....it keeps stuff cold in kind of a nerdy Festool way. Any takers on most frivolous 115.00 ever spent? Shhh! My wife is listening...

I originally bought mine as just another piece of Festool Fan stuff.  Having said that however, mine has gotten a LOT more use that I had anticipated. 

Living near some great beaches, it accompanies us with "appropriate" thirst quenchers on our forays to the sun and sand. It has become an easy way to transport some refrigerated foods on our six-hour drives back and forth from our Florida house to our Georgia house, and has essentially paid for itself in food savings on the road by having home-made sandwiches and drinks vs the typical McDonalds and Burger King stops! [tongue]

It often draws funny looks, and occasional comments.

Now... if they'd just make an even BIGGER one! [big grin]

It does say Festool on the side.... [wink] I have a Maxpedition Chowdown which I found too small @$120 and the Duluth Trading lunchbox which the lower zippered compartment annoyed me to no end(kept picking it up unzipped and spilling the contents) @$60ish. If I had time, I'd make a nice wood one, but we're in a building boom here. There is no time...

I like the idea of the cooltainer, I just wish the systainer wasn't black?

I guess I can swap in a standard SYS4, but I've been hiding my beige systainers out of the sun because I don't want them to yellow. Does Tanos make a lighter color that won't fade?
 
I bought mine during my serious Festool addiction phase last year (OK- maybe the addiction is continuing but at a slower pace) and we took it with us on a trip to Michigan.  After about 14 hours on the road, I have to say I was quite impressed how well it worked- much better than the other cooler we had.  Items were cold and very little ice melt.  My family gave me a bad time about wanting to take it along but the insults stopped when they saw the results.  I was not surprised... [wink]

I'm glad it is almost summer so I can put it to use again- I like my oatmeal stout cold!

Its dark blue not black....
 
I've the uk version which is the standard grey

It's great to just keep beer in my stack .nobody knows lol
