The CTL 33 is ?1 less then the CTL22 now what is the difference between the two i thought the CTL 33 is better so should cost more so why is it less lol.

Also  what is Approved for dust category L  what type of dust is that?

where you getting your prices? last time i checked the 22 was 505.00 and the 33 was 580.00

In the States, the CT 22 is $505 and the CT 33 is $580.

Dust category L is a designation for filter media. It means that the filter doesn't let more than 1% of dust with MAK values >1 mg/m3 pass.

You might ask, "What is MAK value?".

MAK value is "the biggest amount of health-damaging gases and fumes, volatile or floating materials (air pollutants), that can still be born without health damage during working hours (8 hours) at the workplace".

The Festool HEPA filters capture dust particles down to .3 microns.

I think what it means is that the HEPA filters will remove at least 99% of particles above .3 microns where there are more than 1 thousandth of a gram of those particles suspended in 1 cubic meter of air.
