I observed that if I used the belt sander (40x/60x) to remove lots of material aggressively, a thick coat of dust could be seen on the front part of the hose. None if used with the PRO5 LTD (100x and above).
If I grounded the hose, would that make a difference? It seemed so (see the last image). There wasn't any layer of dust, just scattered dust particles on the hose. But further field tests/uses will be needed to see if this is actually something worth doing.
