CT-22 Dust Extractor and Bluetooth Compatibility

I realise that this topic has been discussed in the past.
But, can someone honestly say they have physically tried to fit the bluetooth module to the CT-22?

I have owned the CT-22 for approx 10 years and I expect to get another 10 to 20 years use out of it.
It is still operating at 100% now and I have no reason to upgrade in the foreseeable future.

The long life bag works fantastic. I do take care of this extractor.
It is only used for wood dust.

When I am grinding or cutting concrete, I use the Protool VCP 260 E-L AC dust extractor.
Another bullet proof extractor which I expect to abuse for a long, long time!
I would love to upgrade both these extractors with the bluetooth module.

Surely someone out there has had a crack at it!
I would like to hear from anyone that has succeeded or failed!

Thanks,
Justin

How did you mount it to a CT 22?
Specs say CT 26/36/48

[member=191]Rick Christopherson[/member] produces a special module to mount within the CT 22/CT 33. It then attaches to the stock circuit board with slip-on connectors.

I also have the Maxsys remote, put it on my CT 26 right after they were released...wrks great

I believe the issue with the MIDI & MINI is that they do not have pin-outs on the circuit board.

I never said anything to anyone, but I was actually pretty close to making the Midi/Mini remotes too. All I needed was a compact electromagnet at a reasonable cost. But bluetooth came out before I sourced the parts, and I dropped it.  [blink]

I've had a couple people contact me asking for Maxsys for their CT-22/33 vacs. I have some left over modules, and I will sell them at the old Dealer price of $85, simply because that's a paypal button that is still active and I had the HTML code for it still. Same for extra remotes. I'll go with the old Dealer pricing of $20.

There are no links to this ordering page, except for right here. This is a limited offer.

Thank you Rick, I just ordered one, the missing link to the Prometheus.
Man that thing is sweet. I always wanted one but didn’t have a space for it.

I'm curious [member=191]Rick Christopherson[/member] if the Festool remote (202098) can be paired with the Maxsys to actuate it?  That'd be a nice turn of events.

Hey Rick
I ordered Maxsys for CT22 on 6-2 and received it today 6-29!!!
It appears that the instruction sheet that came with it is for CT 26/36/48

Well first off, I apologize for how long it took to get to you (everyone else too). I'm just not set up for doing these any more, and I kept putting each stage of the process off. Everyone's arrive today, except for one person whose order didn't show up until he messaged me.

Secondly, I just sent all of you an email with the installation instructions a few hours ago. Just in case you didn't get that email, here's a copy of the pdf.

Two questions/issues for you [member=191]Rick Christopherson[/member]  :

1. I can't locate the pairing instructions for the Maxsys and its remote control on your website.

2. Can the Maxsys be paired with the Festool remote control 202098?

Does anyone know if the Festool retrofit kit (#202097) can be made to work with the CT22?

No.  Order the maxsys module ref. earlier.
