CT 33 Closeout

I see that the CT 33 dust collector is now on closeout on the Festool website.  Does that mean Festool is stopping production of the CT 33?  If so, will they stop making the bags and other CT 33 specific items as well?

Yes, the CT 22/33 models have been officially discontinued since mid-2010. There are some still available via our closeout and recondition tools programs.

We have a commitment to continue to produce consumables and replacement parts for discontinued products for a MINIMUM of 7 years after they are discontinued. In many cases, much longer, especially for a product like a dust extractor.
