Hi, Everyone

My problem: I have a CT15E MIDI I purchased less than a year ago. The green lights light up as if everything is a go. But, the vac does nothing when a tool is plugged into the vac it works fine. Does anyone else have same issue? Or does anyone know a fix for this? Thanks for the help.

If it's less than a year old and you bought it new from a retailer, call in for service.

The most likely culprit is a board that has gone bad.  If it's under warranty, that will be covered.

If it was out of warranty, I would recommend more invasive surgery/diagnosis, but if it's less than a year old I would let Festool handle it.

I'm a little lost in the wording?

Are you saying that the tool works, but the vac doesn't? It allows the tool to work through it, but doesn't come on with it?
If you push the MAN button, does it work then?

Also, CT15E or CT Midi? they are not the same thing.

It is the CT15E  and when you press the man it doesnt activate the vac--thanks

The vac does not work, but the tool does?
That's got to be an electronics issue. Sounds like some switch on the board is not doing its thing, or the relay that the switch is trying to activate has failed.
Seems like time for warranty service.
