CT33 E Vacuum Cleaner "Auto Tool Start" Turns on vac just the same as manual?

Any Idea's about how I could attempt to fix this issue?
Vacuum Auto function when set to auto just turns vac on exactly the same as manual on the switch... have taken apart and cleaned dust out etc.

Anyone had similar or the same experience?

You say you took it apart & cleaned the dust out. Did you blow out the outlet?
