ct33e boom arm and kapex hose question

As I get ready to order my kapex, I have a question about the vac hose.  I have been watching for a long time and from what I've seen the reccomended hose is larger than the standard hose that came with my ct33e.  I've also been wanting the boom arm attachement (I have the handle).  Question, If I get the $240.00 boom arm does it come with the larger hose and I'm killing two birds with one stone, or is that just a longer standard size hose.  Anybody?

The boom comes with a small extension, 50? mm hose, then is reduced back to your smaller green hose standard with the vacs. 27 mm I believe. Best results will yield from the 36mm hose for your Kapex. So to answer your question, no the boom does not come with a full length hose. What it comes with is around 2' approx. of 50 mm hose. Enough to get you up the vertical part of the boom, then reduced back to the standard 27mm green hose. I switched to 36mm hose and noticed quite a difference. Especially, on the planer and plunge saw. IMO, the extra money for the hose is worth it. Hope that made sense.

Yep. I'm not surprised they would allow you to double up like that. Where't the money in that.

I believe all the Festool hoses have an extractor end that fits any dust extractor.  I think they are 50mm.
