I recently purchased a second hand CTL 26E AC HD and after cleaning it it wont turn on when the top of the machine is placed on top of the bin...
It runs fine when i take the top part off of the bin, but when i place it back it shuts down after a couple of seconds. It has power, it just winds up for a second and then winds down again.
While cleaning i found there was a lot of water in the filters on the side of the machine, so i wrung those out during cleaning. Motor runs fine, both manual and automatic functions work but not when placed on the bin.
The dust bag was pretty dirty, so i dumped it out and cleaned it a little.. everything was dry on the inside. the issue also happens when i remove the dust bag from the bin.
Anyone know what causes the issue of starting up for a second and then shutting off immediately?
