CTL MIDI 1, suction power adjustment

Isn't the LEDs on the adjustment panel suppose to change when I adjust the suction power? When I start the machine, LED #2 from the bottom is lit. The machine seems to work on max power. When I push the - button, the power decreases and the single LED goes out. When I push the + button, the power increases again and the single LED is lit. Shouldn't the other LEDs ligt up when the power increases?

It works as you would expect. Power on the vacuum and a single lower LED lights. Activate the vacuum and the number of LED’s lit corresponds to 1 of 5 power levels.  They light from the bottom up and it changes as you manually change the suction.

Well, I cannot get the upper three LEDs to light up whatever I do. I guess it's something wrong with this brand new CTL MIDI. I bought a TS 55 saw the same day, it is stone dead.
I really thought Festool was a quality brand... [sad] My local dealer is going to get a busy Monday...

Sorry, that’s no fun at all.  Hopefully you get it sorted quickly.  You will love the combo if this is your first dip in the pool.

I'm happy to announce that my local Festool dealer provided me with a new CTL MIDI 1 today. Now all the LEDs are shining, and the vacuum cleaner works as it should. Thanks -Raj for trying to help me.
