Cube Within a Cube

Came across this YouTube video. Pretty neat woodworking puzzle. It always amazes me what kind of things the human mind can create.

I'm wondering if someone thought this up beforehand or created it accidentally.

This very well may have been discovered by accident and then improved on. I do wonder though if anyone has tried to make a cube inside a cube inside a cube.......that would be a fun project  [embarassed]

Actually, in the video he commented on at least one person who made a cube within a cube within a cube. Guess it all depends on how large a block you're starting with.

Sure would make for a lot of sanding and careful finishing.
