Here is a ceiling that I made for my dads house. It was a fun project to make, it is all mdf and sprayed with my fuji.
This is the second ceiling I build like this, thanks to Gary katz I  preassembled my crown moulding on the ground. I  used spring calmps, and 10 minute lepage glue. This made this build way more enjoyable, and less hard on the neck! As you can see the middle square was jazzed up with some corner blocks that I mitred around. I made the blocks with off cuts of the crown and mdf.

That's a really nice job

We just don't do that kind of work Anymore

Everything is supposedly modern and all the detail is striped back

Wow.. Dig it! Especially that center square.  Beautiful work.

Shadow Stevens for the win.

The quality of your construction and finishing looks excellent.

Sorry, but to me that "jazzed up square" in the middle detracts from the overall design...

Thanks guys !

Vw mick you would love his house(my dads) its full Work like this!

Tim I find people don't really notice it until I show them, but thanks your opinion are welcome.

Rnt80 I just sprayed it with high quality latex paint . I made my painter cut the ceiling to it !

Another great project at your Dad's house!  When do you have time to work on your own? [big grin]

Nice work, thank you for the photos.

Awesome work. I wish I could do more work like this. I've done 2 similar and a barrel vaulted with coffers on the sides.
Your dads place sounds one of a kind.

Coffered ceilings aren't really my thing, but that job is stunning.  I really like the white/gray contrast especially.  Well done!!!
