Amazon is having a Father's Day sale with Discover Card and/or Amazon Cash Back Bonus money. (up to $50.00 discount)

You get 15% off the listed price when using promo 15FATHER and a Discover Card or Cashback Bonus Money in your account.

The CXS is listed on page 10 of the promo tools list.

See the deal at:

Amazon Father's Day Promo

I already have one... Darn it! (And Discover just today hopped up my credit limit again by another 5K...sheesh!) [crying]

Cheers,

Frank

Looks like it does work indeed.  Too bad it's limited to just a handful of tools...

It's now 20% off using an Amazon Rewards Visa and promo code THI20ARC.
I just bought one using the 15% deal and decided it wasn't worth the time to get the extra $5.75 (deal maxes out at $50 off).
$245 is a great deal for someone that doesn't have a CXS.
The email said "for a limited time" so I'm not sure of the deadline.

Thanks for the info.  I just got the CXS Set 564274 for $224.16 including tax and free shipping.  This was using the promo code THI20ARC and some Amazon Visa card points I had built up.  Sure hope it's the T-lock version.

Sweet! Yes, it is the current t-loc version. Mine arrived on Monday and I'm super stoked with it.

What was the exact amazon link that allowed you to use that promo code.  I tried that promo code and it did not work.  I don't have a Amazon rewards visa, and don't want to sign up for one just for this, so I am using a regular Visa -- this could be the problem.

I am looking at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00506BYFO/

You have to use the proper credit card to get the discount. Sitting Elf's required a Discover card, but I think that promo ended May 31st. The one I posted requires an Amazon Rewards Visa. The promo code won't work until after you select the matching payment type.

how did I miss this ,probably a good thing, buying something I already have and not use just because of the discount .
