Cyclone on a ct22

When using CT CYCLONE on a CT 22/33, there should be no harm. HOWEVER, these vacuums were not tested for any longterm effect.  These vacuums have a different design than those of today and were out of production for some time now.  They were equipped to use filter bags and a dual filter system.  They also have good CFM, so it should not present a problem.  But again, use at your own risk.

Thanks, Festool. I decided to give it a shot.  Picked one up from Apex saw works in Reno today.

I normally order through Uncle Bob, but he’s been radio silent for the last couple of weeks.

Worst case scenario, my 10 year old DC blows up and you guys get to sell a new one.

Best case, you don’t.

I have had a DD Deluxe on my CT22 for 5 or 6 years with no issues at all. Wouldn't even consider going back to the standard CT without a cyclone...

Any reason the new cyclone wouldn’t work on my older ct22?
