David Askew is the owner of Integrity Construction & Exteriors in Minnesota. He comes from generations of carpenters and have been learning the trades since he was a young boy growing up in England.

David has tried virtually every brand of miter saw on the market. While they did the job, they were heavy, cumbersome, they had poor dust collection and the accuracy was not up to par with his expectations. For five years, David has been using the Festool Kapex on the jobsite and in his shop.

Watch the video to hear his impressions of the Festool Kapex Miter Saw. David was not compensated for his participation in the creation of this video.

All I have to add is nice music, and you don't have sell it to me any more, I've spent my last pennies buying one the day they went on sale, hope the wife doesn't read this board? Buy the way those wing extensions in the video, do they have a measurement scale on them or is that an after market thing?

The extensions do have a metric tape. You can easily add an imperial stick-on scale, if you'd prefer. Just remember to get them as left and right, not two rights or two lefts.

I added the imperial tapes...I was raised on and taught the metric system, but now it's all nonsense to me since I moved to the states !! lol

Great little upgrade, and deadly accurate if set up with care.

Thanks

Dave
