Hi quick question for the Festool dealers out there.

I know most of you offer free shipping on your tools to the US with minimum purchase.  Do any of you offer free or reduced shipping to Hawaii?  I'm thinking of getting a MFT3.

Thanks,

David

David,

Please visit www.cpofestool.com and give me a call . I can give you a pretty good 2 business day rate that is better than most 7-8 business day rate, I can look it up once I come in at 6 AM PST.

If you are on Oahu, check out Woodcraft. Prices are higher than the contiguous 48 but its to take into account shipping to here. Your final price might be what they are selling their MFT for. They also know their stuff and are an authorized Festool repair shop as well. FYI I don't work for them.

Hi Mark,

I'm familiar with the Woodcraft Honolulu, and like their store.  For most everything I would probably shop with them.  However I believe they tack on 15-20% on top of suggested retail for their Festool.  And I have a strong suspicion that they don't pay anywhere near that for their shipping costs, in fact, I would gander that based on the volume of their Festool orders (they order a full shipping container at a time), i bet Festool either foots the shipping or charges them a minimal fee.  The Woodcraft Honolulu store has a statewide retail monopoly on Festool in Hawaii.

For a MFT3, 15% is $100, if it is 20% ... i would probably be paying $842 out the door (after tax). Yikes...

We do alot of shipments to Hawaii. I know its not going to be cheap (its about $100 domestically for us) but I can get you the best rate. Plus no sales tax. So if you have not already purchased one I can get you a quote if you can give me some more info.
Good Luck,
TJ
