Hi ya,

Only you can help us out here.

Register, come on its painless.

Right now there are 35 guests viewing this board,

this I happen to find encouraging.

If you like what you see, and you must, because you are still here,

voluntarily registering will help this forum immensely.

Besides, why wouldn't you want to be a part of a good thing,

and look at the pictures too!

How could anyone turn down an invitation from such a fine looking young fellow?
His poppa must be proud  :)

Oops! When I wrote this Per's picture was one 6th grade graduation.
It has now been replaced by a picture from his post-post grad days.

I've got to believe that the majority of guests are doing research on Festools prior to a purchase. They may not want to taste the Koolaid until after the proper indoctrination period. ;D

I have a confession to make.  ::)

There are times I read the FOG at work while not logged in.  :-[

Okay, I do it a lot.  ::)

But only at lunchtime or when there is totally nothing to do... I swear! ;)

I am so sorry, but I work for corporate nazi's and need plausible deniability! ;D

Hi.
I am/was a lurker.
I was for about a year.
With the name Festool Owners Group and me only dreaming of them I felt I should not intrude.
At one point I was going to buy a Toolie just to say I own a Festool. Never got around to it.

I am a remodeling contractor in Northwest Indiana. I do build my own case work and do understand how much more efficientI would be with Festools.

My youngest daughter just completed her second year of collage ($40,000.00 + a year) pre-med, her sister is a lawyer and her brother is an electrical engineer so you can guess where the money has gone.

I would have put this in the profile but have not gotten that far.

Per thank you for the invitation, I have seen some of your work through other sites, it is stunning.
I am also more than certain now that I can see the member projects I will be in awe.

I do hope to contribute it just may be awhile before I can afford to do so. Please bare with me.

Tom

Thank god for free education in Finland. Well, I just have to keep my fingers crossed it's still free when my kids need it.  :-\

Hi,

At this moment 290 guests  and 62 registered users.    Come on guests, please register it will gain you some top notch pictures of procedures and great stuff. Plus then you can share your ideas and open discussions, and get answers to your questions about Festool  equipment.  :)

I agree - registering just to get access to the pictures is critical. There are so many ideas shared here and many can be utilized with tools other than Festool - maybe more difficult but projects can be done in many ways. Be sure to look through some of the other topics/sub forums here. I primarily just snoop and print out threads with great ideas to take home and read at my leisure. Don't be intimidated by the abilities and reputations of some of the members here. Well - I admit I am intimidated by Jerry Work, Per and many others but I know I can learn from them. They all share ideas willingly. I visit several sites but spend the most time here. My only complaint is that I didn't get invited to the beerfest in Las Vegas!!  ;-)

Make that 2  :D

Hi - I'm not currently a festool owner but that is likely to change in the next couple of months when I move back to the UK. Currently working for a charity in Togo, West Africa. From what I have read so far this seems to be a friendly place and there are one or two familiar faces around. All for now - will go back to my research on how to spend some of my forthcoming compensation payout!

Cheers,

Steve

Steve,

Welcome, and Holy Moly Togo?

Well, no worries about UL approval there, Hunh?

Being inquisitive, but semi iggnint north Americano,

I just had to find out what was up in Togo.

For one, they obviously have the internet.

Check this blog out. http://togowestafrica.blogspot.com/

Thanks for hanging here Steve.

Per

Good Morning,
Hey, this is working great.  As usual, Per has taught me something.

Steve, welcome from Togo!  I have a feeling you are one of the only members hailing, even temporarily, from Africa!  Please, if you have them, could you post some photos of Festool tools in action in Togo?  I've been thinking of creating a new section in the forum for around-the-globe images.  It can be simple, just people with the tools.  Pretty please?

Per, got any other ideas up your sleeve?

Hey Matthew, Steve said that he did not yet have any Festool tools.

Welcome Steve!

Sure

Post a picture titled and tagged "Naked Woman with Festool Sander."

Remember they can't see it until they join. ;D

Yeah, I know, but I wonder if while he's there he can get a photo of a Festool store or something like that.  Even if he doesn't own the tools yet, this would be great.

Ha Ha Ha! If I were to find any Festool tools on sale here in Togo I wouldn't post photos of them as in all likelihood someone will turn round and say "Oi, that's mine - someone nicked it 3 months ago!" ;D

However if you'd like a photo of a festool in a sunny Lom?, I am more than happy to oblige if someone wants to send me something - send me a PM and I'll give you my address. As I said I work for a charity and am not to proud to be on the receiving end if someone feels so inclined  ;)
