I have a pair that are surplus since I bought a Nova Voyager.
They both work but I’m “selling” as is. Even though I paid $150 each over forty years ago I’d rather give them away than move them again. So whoever makes the best offer soon and is willing to meet me to pick them up (they’re secured to a dolly for transport) at Mana Contemporary in Jersey City, NJ can take them.
One dp is the standard Delta Milwaukee DP 220. Complete units like this don’t cost much on eBay but recently the head shell and belt guard sold there for $299 [eek] so if you have the energy to part this out it would be profitable. Or you could drill holes with it.
The other dp is unique. This one is mounted on a piece of flattened and hardened C channel. It has a taller column (Delta 1030) and the entire head (same DP 220) slides easily up and down the column thanks to an excellent counter balance system integrated into the column.
One spindle/chuck is missing in the photo but they’ll be included. One of the interchangeable spindles has noticeable runout and since they’re the same I swapped the better one into whichever dp was in use.
Both have good motors made in the US. The regular dp motor is 1/2hp (original Delta) and the other is 1/6hp (Marathon).
