I have a brand new router and turned the turret a couple of times for different depths, but now it won't turn at all. Any suggestions??

I wish that I was welcoming you to the forum under better conditions, but nonetheless [welcome]. You said that it rotated previously but stopped. Could it be that you are not pressing down while trying to turn it?
If that doesn't work I would suggest that you call Festool tomorrow morning and talk to them. They are really good at trouble shooting over the phone. Based on your conversation they might suggest taking it back to your dealer for an exchange if they are local to you.
