The only reason I have this tool is a chance buy on EBay. I was looking for some 2Ah batteries to partner with the Dewalt framer and finisher combo I recently purchased and the kit with two 2Ah batteries, charger and oscillating tool was a bargain.
I have a corded Fein and a Vecturo, but the only cordless oscillating tool I had prior to this Dewalt was by Dremel ... and that tool is simply a dud.
I needed to make a series of cutouts in a fascia board and I thought I'd give the Dewalt a go as I was working away from mains power and was only using cordless tools for other tasks.
Not only was the tool brilliantly powerful, the ergonomics were great too. I was super impressed. Prior to using it I was simply intending to cash the skin at some point - now I'll certainly keep this tool ... just wish it wasn't yellow [embarassed]
