I have an older Festool atf55 saw and have fooled around trying to find a good method for carrying the guide rails, first I built a box to hold them but that proved to be too heavy. I then bought a bag used for a snowboard but that again turned out awkward to carry, I looked at the Festool bag but at $92 I felt it wasn't worth it so I bought a Dewalt bag and two guide rail clamps that arrived yesterday.
I was anxious at first that the two 55" rails and a newer 32" rail wouldn't fit and the clamps would not be compatible but every thing fits perfectly. The Dewalt clamps don't fit in the ouside pocket, I put the festool clamps there and the dewalt clamps also fit in the bag with the rails.I know it's heresy to put Festool equipment into a Dewalt bag but for $68 delivered I feel it's a great deal. I bought these items at Toolup.com, no affiliation but a great company to deal with.
