I know everyone raves about Bob Marino's great service as a Festool dealer but my recent experience confirms those raves are well-deserved.
First, Bob apparently never sleeps because it seems like I hear from him within minutes whenever I email him-- morning, night, weekends..... The guy is instantly responsive.
Second, after much debate I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Kapex I had been lusting over for a LONG time. Bob shipped it instantly and I was like a kid on Christmas morning, assembling the saw and getting ready for a little Kapex lovefest. But horror of horrors, the saw had a problem with the head descending smoothly which could not be fixed despite all the great FOG advice. I reached out to Bob and without any arm-twisting at all, he just had Festool ship me a new saw (and a postage-paid label for return of the old saw).
I have NEVER experienced such awesome service from any other dealer or manufacturer before so I just wanted to give some well-deserved praise to both Bob and Festool. Sure, Festool is expensive but it is great products and great service that cause me to keep biting the bullet to buy Festool!
