difference between 574267 router and 574342 router

Can anyone tell me the difference between the OF 1400 #574267 router and the OF 1400 #574342 router? How do they compare to the OF 1400 #574692 router?

The 574692 is imperial, the 574342 is metric. The 574267 is ???

I double checked. The label on the systainer does say 574267. The tool # is 491967. The date of mfg. is 7/06. The label on the tool say Tooltechnic Systems. The systainer contains an edge guide with a micro adjustment dial.

The difference might be that it has a Classic systainer instead of a T-Loc.  Any references to that number for the OF1400 that I can find are quite a few years old. Pretty sure there have been no changes to the router. There could be differences in the included collets, edge guide etc.

I take it you are looking at buying a used one?

I am not certain that the Systainer is the difference.

Classic is the older four latch type. T-Loc is the current one latch type. The Classic uses two front latches for the lid. There are two more latches on the rear sides that are used for connecting when stacked along with the tow on the front. T-Loc  one rotating latch does all the latching functions.

The old and new are compatible though in that a new one can latch on top of an old but not the other way around.

In the 2009 catalog the OF1400EQ was item number 574267.  It came in the classic systainer. Metric scale.

In the 2011 catalog the OF1400EQ was item number 574342.  It came in the TLoc systainer.  Metric scale.

The scope of delivery (what is included) appears to be the same in each case.

574692 is imperial scale in TLoc.  The scope of delivery matches those earlier models.

This is REALLY great information! I am currently bidding (ebay) on a 574267. I bid $400 and I have been outbid thus far as the current bid is $405. Shipping for me will be $45. According to the seller this tool was inherited by him from his dad, who the seller claims used it for hobby work. It is in what appears to be very good condition. It does contain a Festool 492636 Parallel Edge Guide with Fine Adjustment. The 574692 does not include this item. In y'alls opinion how much is this 574267 worth? There is a 574342 on ebay. The seller is asking $549 obo. $50 shipping for me. In y'alls opinion how much is a 574342 in very good condition worth. It does not have a parallel edge guide and I'm not sure which collets are included.

Back in 2009 the 1400 sold for $470.  The new version is $600 with the warranty.  $549 +50 shipping equals basically a new tool.
