Quick one from the weekend, cracked out the Festools and made a set of open tread stairs for my sons raised bed, he's mad on dinosaurs at the minute so I routed out some dinosaur footprints on the treds and filled them with west system resin mixed with luminous powder which is not only decorative but allows him to see where the treads are if he gets up through the night here's a couple of pics (tried to take one in the dark to show the footprints but didn't turn out to well  [huh])

You can sort of see them in this pic but doesn't really do it justice as they really  glow up and do do for 12+ hours

Hi,

Like the stairs, LOVE the footprints.  There are time I wish this board allowed for a "thumbs up" sort of thing.  You have earned one :)

Really nice job on the steps and some great creativity with the footprints!  I bet they made a big hit with your son!

Cheers Mike, yeah they were a hit mate, it was a bit of a weekend room make over whist he was staying with his grandparents he was very pleased on his return  [big grin]
