Disappearing topics?

Earlier today, I posted on the topic http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-tool-problems/wtfestool!!!!/

Now, it the entire topic is missing. Is there technical problems? I don't believe that a moderator would have deleted the entire topic as there was nothing offensive in it.

FYI, I'm using the same computer & browser.

Before the forum software update, members could not delete a topic like that. I have restored those permissions which limit deleting complete threads. If you need a thread removed for some reason, please contact a moderator or myself. We want to make sure the content on the forum remains intact and transparent.

That link doesn't work either!  [eek]
The problem with the link is that editor got/gets confused with where to place then end URL tag ==> [ / U R L ] and didn't include the !!!!/

I am the original poster of that thread.  I felt it was not a fair representation so i took it down.  I was contacted AFTER to find out why.  I was not coerced to do it and it seems it's been revived so there is no conspiracy to keep discussion geared in a favorable light.  TO BE CLEAR, NO moderator asked me to, or took it down.  I guess i made 2 mistakes with this now... [embarassed]

Rob, what you did wasn't a mistake. This forum is here for everyone to not only share their enthusiasm about our tools, but also the negatives when they happen. To me, the negative is just an opportunity to turn it into a positive. I hope that you gain friends, advice and knowledge from your time here. As always, I serve as a resource to help you and others.
