Do I need 2 anti static hoses for cylone/dust deputy type setup?

I need some help guys, I wanted to add a cyclone setup to my CT26 extractor. I have a 36mm Anti Static hose (452882) and am waiting on delivery on a 36mm non-anti static hose (the grey one - 452881) which I bought as part of a cleaning kit to go with my extractor.

I need to ask if I need to swap this grey hose for anti static hose to use as part of a cyclone setup? If so, could I use the connectors for the static hose (452881) with use on an anti-static hose piping or are the connectors different between the different anti/static hoses?

How bad is the static buildup in the DD type cyclones too? I do cut and use a lot of plastics in my workflow. Any help would be appreciated.

I bought the 50mm Anti-Static boom arm hose from Festool to connect my Dust Deputy to my CT-22. I added copper tape to help conduct static build-up .  There is a thread or two on this here on the FOG.
Corwin has posted pictures of his set-up as well.

The dust collector provides the ground for draining the static charge, so if you want anti-static feature then you need a continuous electric ground from the dust collector to the connector for the tool. This can be doe using antistatic hoses or copper wire or copper tape to make the connection.

I have the metal DD and use NON-antistatic hoses (mainly because they are more flexible than the green antistatic hoses) and have never received any kind of shock or even noticed much sawdust clinging to the hoses.  Not sure if using a plastic DD would have the same results, though.

I have an Ultimate Dust Deputy on order.  The sales guy at Oneida said they have changed the design to be made of static dissipative materials eliminating the need for conductive tape.

thanks guys, I think I have to save up for the Oneida.

I did buy a long life bag last week but realised soon after how fine dust will be a problem.

I know this post is pretty old but I am kinda having the same question/issue.. what's wrong with this picture?
I receive quite the shock from the table saw.
