Do you guys use an angle gauge on your Carvex or Trion?

I've been doing a lot more angle cuts on the Trion where precision is needed. How are you guys using an angle gauge with this saw? I don't have one yet, and considering that Wixie one everyone seems to love. It makes sense to me how it would be used on a table saw where everything is stationary, but the jigsaw... do I just make sure it's pressed firmly to the table while taking measurements?

Most the time I’m in the field, if I need an accurate angle on a jig saw or a skilsaw,I usually cut an angle on a piece of scrap wood with a miter saw and use that as a template.
Then match the saw to the template. Keep it simple.
