Does Anyone Remember...

About 10+ years ago (before youtube and instructables), there was a guy who had a website of how to woodworking projects. He was a big Festool guy and his demos were great, and almost always done with pretty girls. John was his name maybe? I just wondered what became of him in the youtube age.

I believe he passed away. Those were his two daughters. Don't know if the website is still there.

That’s sad to hear. He was one of the first to pioneer the online how-to. Yes, I remember the girls as just “pretty girls”...not inappropriately dressed or anything. I wondered if they were his girls. I hope they continued his work.

Yes John Lucas passed away around 2009

He did a ton of videos.  He was very active in talking about Festool and a nice guy. 

I bought the 156mb PDF of his site on CD when his wife was selling it via PayPal after John died.  But alas, none of the videos.
