So as the title says,I love my new domi plate.
I am a new domino owner and with the help of the Fog community, picked up a domi plate also.
Easy to use and,in my opinion, easier than without it for ply.

Still making stupid mistakes on MY part, but love the plate.[attachimg=1]
As you can see,I tried to domino a 3/4" ply and a 1/2" ply together and the result was a lip.
I had the plate set for 1/2" and didn't realize that the plate should be for 3/4".
Oh well, shop cabinet/practice piece.

Did you keep your reference faces/edges the same way? I.e. domiplate on the outside edge/face.

I haven't felt the need to buy one quite yet. I like the idea of having the fence as support instead of an add on plastic support.

I've had the Domiplate for a while and I can't imagine living without it.  If you do any kind of cabinet construction it's a huge time saver.

The Domi Plate is the best accessory I bought for the domino.  I can't think of any other accessory that is a must have.  I could manage without the cross stops.  I could manage without the trim stop.

Every time I used the Domi plate in one of my videos it seems like I'll receive a message with someone asking me
"What is that black thing on your domino?"

My response is usually....... "The best accessory for the domino"

I just got one about 2 months back and used it on a recent project for a miter saw station.  This thing is a no brainer and if you do a lot of work using sheet goods I think it is an absolute must.  I practice on a few pieces of scrap before tackling my project and all of my joints are spot on.

Very worthwhile accessory, I've had mine for a few years and use it anytime I'm using the Domino on sheet goods.

To answer MGB; Yes, you should always reference of the same face.
