I live in Western Canada. I am looking to purchase a domino connecter range kit in systainer. Any idea where I can get one from? I do not believe they're available in North America yet. Thank you

I can buy one for you and send it to Canada.
Price is €199 excl. shipping cost and import duty/taxes.
I have recently shipped work clothing and Bosch jigsaw accessories to Canada and US for other FOG members.

You could try Axminster as they have an established export pipeline to North America. As such they remove the European sales tax (VAT) at the checkout which give a 20% reduction straight away. Here is the link to the connector system there:

I know that you can press a button on the front page of their web site to have prices quoted in either UK Pounds, Euros or US Dollars but I am not sure how it works for Canadian Dollars. You can email their export people very easily.

Axminster's site requires you enter info and wait for a quote via return email.

Yep, still waiting the third day for the quote.  Perhaps Brexit is getting them a bit more insular?

Or send them a mail, as I have experienced them they are nice and helpful people.

Axminster it seems requires a human to give actually figure out a shipping quote to N.America.  Entering an address into their order page won't generate a price for you.

I had a response within a couple of hours and shipping was roughly $50 for that SYS.

Possibly so, but their ordering form doesn't seem to be built to feed the right data into the backend as all I ever get out of it is "Code 326: Please provide a (n) State / District."

Canada has provinces, right? Just enter that. I do the same when I need to enter a "state" in some US form.

Doesn't matter. Their form was not built to accept or pass a "state" parameter to the server, so it never sees it. All the code is in English, so I'm pretty confident about this limitation on their end.

I can make a free phone to them so just PM your real name and the email address you used to me and I will ask them to sort things out.

(edited after talking to one of Axminster's export staff at 08.35 am UK time today)

There is no record of an enquiry regarding the Domino connection system and one must assume that your message has been lost in transit.

I have sent a PM to [member=56915]Xoncention[/member] with the direct email address of the chap that I called today.

Thanks Peter.  Your assistance was/is appreciated.  Axminster found my order and completed it their end and I finalized it this end.  ;)

Axminster appears to be able to handle these queries in a timely manner - all via their website. No need to call or bug Peter - see my post above.

[member=41452]dougnath[/member] -my post tells you the shipping charge to the U.S. East Coast, but I doubt it would be more to the west though.  My guess is similar to Canada.  Up to you to decide whether it's hefty or not ?

Hello and thanks everyone. Yes Peter I eventually contacted Axminster and am in the process of getting my connector kit. I'm looking forward to experimenting with the connectors and then implementing them in my work. Thanks!

I ordered from Axeminster as well. Order was placed and shipped within 24 hours and it cleared customs in LA in 3 days. Should be here very soon!
