I recently had my Domino XL stop working and wanted to know if anyone had experienced a similar situation.
I was cutting into some merbau hardwood with the machine plugged directly into my ct midi with cyclone attached when i experienced a small flash of light followed by a burnout smell. The machine would not work after that.
The RCD did not flick on my power outlet.
The plug it lead still worked when tested with another tool.
The CT Midi is still working fine.
The tool is less than 6 months old, the cutter was sharp and this was only the second job i had used it for.
I have sent it away for repair which is a pain as i cannot complete the job now and the customer will not be happy but mainly i would like to know if this has happened to anyone else?
