I'm in the middle of a project for SWMBO but I found a little time on Sunday to try it out with some scraps. Wow. I had perfect alignment of various joints with no measuring. Mostly used the guide pins or a mark like for biscuits. I stuck with the standard 5mm domino and fit was nice and tight. The big plus over biscuits is the exact fit of the domino on mitered glueups vs the sloppy fit of the biscuits. I can definitely see it improving the quality and speeding up the completion of future projects.
