Domino Jig

its amazing the lengths some people will go to . it will do the job thow
i dont see the value of making it osilate like that. surly using the router 90degrees to the piece and routing a slot would be just as good.

i would still rather have my domino

Doesn't the domino oscillate, though?

Smart guy!

Seems like a lot of work.  Maybe he doesn't have access to Festool?  I would think the time invested in building the tool could be used to finnish a job to buy a Domino.

I still applaud his ingenuity.

sorry i meant in a hand power tool. the domino does it itself

I am thoroughly impressed. Would love to see that thing up close but considering the tight fits of the dominos it appears to be made well. You have to check his website for the door holder, good stuff.
It would be interesting to know why he went for DIY but I find this inspiring stuff in any case, I was just wondering if I would have to patience to pull this of, you have to applaud his engineering. I think this is so cool I'm considering getting some bib overalls too.  [laughing]
