Domino question (North American version)

Both the fence height and cutting depth scales are metric. This even on the NA/US version.

Metric is consistent with tenon sizes. In the US, we will have to deal with Imperial (inches, fractions, mils) and metric for the foreseeable future.

Imperial units is one of the problems that will only solve itself one funeral at a time.

Though you as an individual have the option to not wait for your eventual turn but walk away from the non-SI units now toward a fully metric and happy life.

The depth scale is metric and you wouldn't want to change that since Dominos are labeled in metric. The height scale is in metric, but the thickness scale (the steps) can be bought from a third party in imperial. Then the steps will be for common thicknesses (though the scale on the fence will still be metric; not sure if they sell a replacement sticker for that). The thickness scale thingie can be found here: https://www.senecawoodworking.com/products/imperial-thickness-gauge-df500
