Hi Guys,
Anyone using their Domino to plunge holes to attach a table top to the apron with clips?
I always used my biscuit joiner...which died 2 days ago.
If so do you know the depth setting off-hand? I am not near the shop to play around with it.

Thanks,
Frank

Frank,  Most of the clips that I have been using call for a 3/8" deep slot 3/8" down from the top edge.  I cut this with my table saw before assembling the apron.

Hi Jack,
I used to do it that way, then I started using my Biscuit joiner to do neat recesses without having a full length cut along the whole apron. I have the table assembled and went to use my B-Joiner and realized it crapped out. Now I am waiting for the new trigger assembly.

Thanks,
Frank

i think you aare the only person to answer your own question.
the settings are specifice to the hardware (bought or made) you have.
i have used this tecnique with homemade buttons (rectangular blocks with a rebate on one side). it works great

I use Z-clips that I buy from Rockler, and set the Domino height on the 28 mm setting.

Works perfectly.

I think you're overcomplicating it...use a domino!
