Domino Wrench

Has anyone broke a wrench?  I changed bits for the first time and broke the wrench while snugging up the nut.

Boy, I've not heard that one before, sounds like Gunther worked on your Domino.

Yeh, I was shocked.  I'm going to take at back to Woodcraft when I pick my  dovetail jig I ordered.

same problem here - no issue freeing up the body but when I went to take off the bit it snapped in half....so far that is the only thing I have not been impressed with.  ???

I broke mine just taking my domino off the body. I didn't crank on it. I think they might of had a bad casting or something.
Uncle Bob mailed me a new wrench immediately.  :

I did not break it loosening it, I broke it tightening it.  A couple of engineers and myself took a close look at it today and saw what appeared to be a flaw in the casting.  We could see a dark spot where it broke and it should have been the same color as the rest of the broken surface.

I will defintely do as your instructions show in the future for loosening.  I don't want to make a habit of breaking the wrench.
