Domino xl

Anyone else have problems with their new domino xl cutting crooked mortises?

Hi.

I have had mine for about 5 months, and don't haven't noticed crooked mortices.  What do you mean by crooked?  Not parallel to the top?  Is the fence not aligned correctly?

Kind of weird maybe my error I plunge from right to left right lower than left to right

This problem has been reported a lot. One of the explanations I remember is that a too rapid plunge rate can cause the bit to climb up slightly. It would be interesting to try cuts with slow to fast plunge rates to see if there is a difference.

New domino perfect now and plunges easier too

I have the xl  and no issues.
Plunging steady and slow  is how I use the machine.
