With summer fast approaching I was asked by a mate to make a garden bench out of some leftover Merbau decking.

I got a bit carried away with the Domino as there are lots and lots. All the dominos are homemade using the Merbau (8mm x widest setting) for outdoor durability, and all joins epoxied. The completed bench has three coats of Wattle Scandinavian oil.

Its super comfy and was road tested with copious amounts of cold beer whilst watching the AFL Footy Grand Final  [laughing]
 
Very nice. After a few more beers, lift legs, rotate 90 degrees, and lie down!

Beautiful bench, Tezzer.  I love the Dominos showing on the ends and middle stretchers...great design element.  I also love the curves in the seat.  Very well executed!
