Double-edged Jigsaw Blade - with a Mystery!

There are some unusual jigsaw blades out there. For example, most FOG members will be familiar with the DeWalt DW3311 (DT2074/T142HB) flush-cutting jigsaw blade. It fits into jigsaws that take t-shank/Bosch blades (like the Festool Trion jigsaw) and it allows you to cut right up to a vertical surface or obstruction:

However last week I was given a blade that I'd never seen before - with teeth on the front and rear edges of the blade...!

The blade and packaging indicates it is sold by D+N, and the packaging gives their address as D+N Sagen- und Werkzeugfabrik GmbH, An der Granahohe 17, D-54332 Wasserliesch, Germany.

Nowadays it is usually quite easy to find out more information about a tool or accessory, and the first thing often done is to go to the manufacturer's website - in this case the packaging says it is www.dn-tools.com.

Oddly, this takes you to a holding page put up by the webhosting company 1&1 Internet AG. The domain dn-tools.com was registered by D+N in 2006 and the registrant's Who Is details are:

Code:
registrant-firstname:            Seref
registrant-lastname:             Saglik
registrant-organization:         D+N Saegen- und Werkzeugfabrik GmbH
registrant-street1:              Granahoehe 17
registrant-pcode:                54332
registrant-city:                 Wasserliesch
registrant-ccode:                DE
registrant-phone:                +49.65016094880
registrant-email:                saglik@mps-saegen.de

Failing a manufacturer's website, a www.google.com search usually comes up with something, but there are very few links that mention D+N, and none that I could find that mentioned this particular blade (it carries product code "3 28 28").

The firm seems to exist - see a German company database at http://www.firmendb.de/firmen/227488.php - and I even found a D+N catalogue which features product codes of that style, but the double-edged blade isn't mentioned.

Note the e-mail address of the domain registrant in the above Who Is listing, which is linked to www.mps-saegen.de. This company is much easier to find - their website is up and running and the address of the company is MPS Sagen GmbH, Conrad-Rontgen-Strasse 1-3, D-54332 Wasserliesch, Germany - the same "postcode" as D+N Tools.

So here are two questions:

Has anyone come across a double-edged jigsaw blade like this before?
Has anyone heard of D+N?

Oh, and in case anyone is tempted to ask whether the blade does make scroll cuts easier, I haven't tried it yet!

As far as I'm concerned, it is made for cutting narrow circles (pardon my poor english)
