Hello,

Recently I purchased a new "QUADRIVE TPC 18/4 Cordless Percussion Drill" in basic configuration.
And some days ago I got a 2nd hand Festool C15 Li set, pretty much used, with a DD-ES excenter and a DD-AS angle.
Those two accessories do fit on the new TPC, but it's not a charm.
You have to fiddle a bit to connect the accessory. And if you want to change the angle, you have to unmount it completely and fiddle with it again. I expected that I would only have to slide back a ring a bit to change the angle.
Are the newer EX UNI and AN UNI any easier in connecting?
Anybody having both to compare?

To attach a chuck you have to align the hexagonal stud within the chuck with the hexagonal recess in the spindle stud on the front of the drill.

With any of the attachments you only need to rotate the chuck a maximum of +/- 22 degrees to get it into  alignment. Once you have the drive spindle engaged, with the right angle and eccentric chucks, you can further adjust the angle in 30 degree increments.

What I often do is hold the chuck still (while pulling back the collar if there is one) and gently push it towards the drill while lightly pulling the trigger to rotate the stud.

You’ll get used to it.
