Drill stoppers for forstner bits

IGM, a distributor in Europe is now showing a precision drill stopper for forstner bits.  I'm not seeing an equivalent available in the USA.  Interesting.  They show a pretty good video in a silly application.  I don't need a drill stopper on a drill press.  My drill press has that function built in.  But it shows the  function of the stopper clearly.  Pretty cool.

I disagree about the drill press though. This setup makes things independent of material thickness, etc. You can repeat the same depth over and over without having to adjust the stop on the press over and over.

Yes, why does one need the stopper if the drill press already has the depth stop feature? I use my depth stopper only when drilling with a cordless drill.

Forgetting the stop aspect it would be a great help in drill a true perpendicular hole with a forstener bit using a hand drill.
