DTSC 400 Abrasives

Morning FOG!

I’ve just bought the new cordless DTSC 400. I already had the ETS150/3 and use Abranet abrasives with it. Am I right in saying that Abranet abrasives won’t attach directly to the DTSC and that another pad is required to make them compatible? Or have I totally got this wrong?
Any help is very much appreciated.

They attach directly just fine, but because of the mesh structure the expensive pad of the sander is exposed to wear. It is better to use a padsaver in between.

Or just use normal sandpaper. I don't get this mesh fad of lately, it is not better than normal paper, it is structurally weaker so everything will wear faster and cost you more money for the same result.

Never used one, but I think Festool only makes one type for the DTS400 anyway so that's the one you need.

If you mean normal sandpaper, Granat is always a good choice, available as normal paper and as mesh.
